vssftp server


actually i need a little help about this as i am new to linux...how do we add shares for users and how to addd users for this server..

I use gproftpd its a gui version that configures ftp services.
just apt-get install gproftpd

Add shares??? This is ftp, there are no shares in ftp. As for the users, vsftpd will read them off of the users in the system.
