VSFTPD permissions inconsistency

Hallo,

I installed vsftpd on a Suse 10.2.
If I log on (as local user) from another machine in the same domain, everything works fine, I can download and upload as much as I want. If I log on (as the same local user) from a machine in another domain, the only thing I can do is change directories and do "pwd", but get the error
"550 Permission denied"
for the "ls","mget" and "mput" commands.

Any ideas why?
