Lightbulb VSFTPD help needed pleaseee!

Hello mates .. i just installed vsftpd on my server .. i have no idea how 2 use

what im tryin to do is :

i have a client with a website .. i want to give him an ftp account with username and password, when he types ftP:// he enters his username and pass correctly, he goes to the directory /var/html/www/blabla

he can view everything inside that folder ( files and subfolders ) but cant go outside of it ( to my server folder var,etc .. )

please need help .. thank u mates

Create the users home directory as /var/html/www/blabla then add him to the chroot users config file. This should enable him to only work in that directory and subdirectories.

In the vsftpd.conf file just add:


And if DNS is already setup, it should already point the name to the server running vsftpd.
