VSFTPD Connection Problem

Hey guys i have setup VSFTPD+ssl in my UBUNTU box and i can connect to it, SSL enabled or not from our LAN perfectly using its private ip address. Also our internet connection is PPPoE shared by a Edimax broadband router and in our router i enable port forwarding of port 20-21 to our VSFTPD server's private ip address. And i can connect perferctly also to our VSFTPD server using our internet connections public ip address. my problem is that i cant connect to our VSFTPD using our internet connections public ip address if SSL is enabled the connection timeouts... what could be the problem?

The certificate on the FTP daemon running host is linked to a FQDN (realhostname.doma.in) which most likely is not equal to the realhostname.doma.in of your "internet connections public ip address". If that's not it, care to set the client to verbose, connect, then post the log?

I cant find any option to set CoreFTP to use verbose all i can find is this log hope this helps.

Hmm. Looks like http://www.slacksite.com/other/ftp.html to me. BTW, edit your previous post and scrub your IP address and also BTW please don't use the root or Administrator account over the 'net.
