vsftpd and SSL problems

Hello,

I'm configuring vsftpd in order to accept TLS/SSL connections. I created the certificate. I configured the daemon:

Code:
ssl_enable=YES
allow_anon_ssl=NO
force_local_data_ssl=NO
force_local_logins_ssl=NO
ssl_tlsv1=YES
ssl_sslv2=NO
ssl_sslv3=NO
rsa_cert_file=/etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.pem
But when I switch from ssl_enable=NO to ssl_enable=YES, the daemon crashes. It says nothing strange when starting again, but the service disappears, no longer listens. I found no similar circumstance on the net, only problems which can occur if the service is available.

I use virtual users autenticable through PAM and stored in a MySQL database under Debian GNU/Linux Etch.

Thanks in advance.
