vncserver auth config

trying to cinfigure vncserver to authenticate from RealVNC free client.

/etc/sysconfig/vncservers content:

securityType=vncAuth
UserPasswdVerifier=VncAuth
PasswordFile=$HOME/.vnc/passwd

VNCSERVERS="1:admin 2:centos"
VNCSERVERARGS[1]="-geometry 1280x800"
VNCSERVERARGS[2]="-geometry 1280x800"

service vncserver start "OK"
But when trying to connect from RealVNC have "authentication fail"

and log writes this:
Connections: accepted: 10.90.0.29::55984
SConnection: Client needs protocol version 3.8
SConnection: Client requests security type VncAuth(2)
SConnection: AuthFailureException: Authentication failure
Connections: closed: 10.90.0.29::55984 (Authentication failure)

You don't say what version/distro of Linux you're using, or what type of client you're connecting from, so it's hard to say. However, there are many mentions of this error on Google that have some possible solutions:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.netw...gervnc.user/57
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=611677

There are mentions of password file truncation if the password isn't exactly 8 characters (for Windows clients).
