vm-pop3d and forwarding

can anyone fill me in on how to forward emails to another address on another server while using vm-pop3d and postfix?

I have tried adding the email address at the end of the table in the virtual.db, vmailbox.db, virtual_alias_maps.db and aliases files.

On another server that i take care of where all are users of the machine I put a .forward file in their home directory, but there is no home directory for users when they are virtual on the machine!? Am very much running out of ideas and would be nice to gain that functionality.

Any help would be much appreciated

that was fixed

adding the forwards list to the virtual file in postfix and changing the reference in the main.cf file to reflect the virtual file and all is well
