Question Virtual Samba Shares??

Hi everyone!

I have a question about Samba shares, hope this is the right place...
I have created a network IP alias on my Ubuntu box, so now it is accessible with 2 IP addresses. Then I've configures apache to react in a different way for each of the IPs.
Now, what I want to do is to have a single samba share (lets call it simply share), which will have two different interfaces for these two IP addresses. In other words I want to access different folders with different IP addresses but with the same name (share).

Thanks,
Armen

no good reason for wanting something as contrived as that i'm sure. if you authenticate you can provide different files based on home directories or such, or I guess you'd just have to run different instances of samba tied to each port. I'm sure there's a much better way to achieve the end result you're after though.

Not a networking question, moved to Linux - Server.
