Hi,
I have seen this command before, but i don't remember exactly what it is.
I have a script to install several softwares on my linux enterprise 5.0. That script relies heavily on internet connection, therefore, i executed the script directly from local console, rather than through Secure shell.
is there any way that I can take a look at console activity remotely? using secure shell?
sorry to confuse u.
my question is: i have process running at local screen, tty1.
Since I can't sit in that environment for a long time, I need to use SSH to monitor whatever happens/how the process has been going.
yes. I don't have "screen' actually"
I ended up using "tail ..svc1" , kinda forget the path.
But it's not live-update though. I guess I would need special software to do this?
thanks1
I had a guy remote into the server setup a screen session, which I then attached to locally, so we were both looking at the same info on the same console, him remotely via ssh and me locally at the server.
