VHCS problem with new (sub)domains

Hi all,

Before you read on and reply that this has to go to vhcs.net: Yes I did post it there also, but that site is dieing and thats why I wanted to try it here also.

A friend of me and I are trying to use VHCS inside VMware. We know, it needs a lot of modding but we managed to change a lot! We have been changing the template files so it would give apache the intern IP address and bind the external IP.

We now only have one last problem and we cant seem to find the solution for it.

We are running
Code:

VHCS® Pro v2.4.7.1
build: 2006-01-03
Spartacus

When we try to add a domain or a subdomain, it doesnt create the log files and it seems that the URL's are redirecting to the domain itself (as in www.ezh.be)

For example: We added the subdomain long.ezh.be, but it looks to be redirecting to www.ezh.be. long.ezh.be should be displaying the VHCS control panel, but it doesnt.

Inside the htdocs is only the index.html of VHCS and no other files.

We also tried running the request manager, but this didn't help either.

Code:

mail:/var/www/vhcs2/engine# ./vhcs2-rqst-mngr
mail:/var/www/vhcs2/engine#

Code:

mail:/var/www/vhcs2/engine/tools# ./vhcs2-httpd-logs-mngr
/bin/cp: cannot stat `/var/log/apache2/users/long.ezh.be-access.log': No such file or directory
mail:/var/www/vhcs2/engine/tools#

The VHCS debugger in the admin panel doesnt show any errors
