Utility to manage DNS server

I have some query regarding DNS servers.

In our DNS servers, multiple sites are hosted and DNS is running on Linux server. Sometimes we have to do addition/deletion of multiple entries in DNS so it is manual work.

So i need suggestion regarding this problem which makes it easy. Is there any tool which can be used to manage DNS except Webmin utility?
Or any best practice which can be done for managing these stuffs.

personally I like to use nsupdate as a command line interface to the bind system. once you've set up keys for it it's very simple to add and delete records without messing with the actual zone files directly.
