using lvm/ocfs2 to configure san storage

Is it possible to use LVM to first partition SAN disks (taking multiple luns to create one volume) and then mount it using ocfs2 filesystem.trying to install oracle 10G rac on linux and having ocfs and san storage. any thoughts on this to would be of great help.

thanks very much.

Sure why not. If the volumes reside on different physical disks you have a better performance. But it would be wiser that the storage array handles the virtualisation of the disks (usually there is some intelligence in the controller that handles the striping very well). Then fewer exported LUNs are easier to administer. Also the readahead cache of the disk array can be better utilized with fewer LUNs...
