Using Active directory Authentication of parent non-squid cache to child squid cache

Good evening!
I have a non-squid parent cache using active directory to authenticate users. This parent cache has three types of accesses (rules) for authenticated users. Now, what I would like to do is use the parent's authentication and cache so that the rules defined on the parent squid will still apply to the users connected to the child server.

Is this possible?

Unless otherwise, I'm thinking of allowing the child proxy server full access (no restrictions) towards the parent cache and then define separate rules (access controls) and enable active directory authentication on it.

Please give me suggestions to this problem. Thank you so much.
