use perl to authenticate against htaccess
hi,
i would like to build kind of a proxy that hides the ip of the destination host by forwarding its content to the user via cgi-proxy. the destination host asks for an htaccess-standard user/passwort authentication. is it possible to have a simple html-form asking the user to enter username and password on the "proxy-host" and then letting a perl-script authenticate against the destination host? thanks, toby |
