Upgrade RHEL4 to RHEL5

I can find any howto in Redhat's web that explain it.
I'd like to upgrade my RHEL4 AS to RHEL5, the whole system. I tried to add my machines to the new RHEL5 channel but I can't.
Anyone knows the up2date option "--upgrade-to-release=XXXX" how does it work ???

Thanks everyone.

This topic has come up a few times lately, so try searching the forums for various opinions on what you're attempting.

My advice would be to back up your important data and config files, schedule a downtime, and build the RHEL5 server from scratch.

Yes, I think we'll do a 'fresh' install
