unmounting USB drive

I have Linux server with usb External seagate harddrive mounted on it for backup. It is working fine but frequenly i am facing the USB drive automatiacally unmounted from the mount point. It works after mounted manually.

This is what i see from message log

drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: input irq status -84 received
usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 2

could pls suggest what would be the issue to resolve?
Thanks

Is it a Free Agent model?
If so this is a known issue.
