unable to complete ppoe discovery


Hi,

The ADSL connection is not coming up. It is giving me the following errors.

Timeout Waiting for PADO packets.
Unable to complete PPOE discovery.

I reset the modem and tried to bring the line back up.
I also tried to restart ppp but it gives me the above mentioned errors.

I also tried contacting Telkom they tested the line and said it is fine..

What else could be wrong.

Thanks for the help in advance.

HI
It was a problem with the internet service provider. They were having problems with the lines, nothing is wrong with the configuration.
