Ubuntu Server on VMWare: problems with mptscsih
 

I'm seeing IO problems on Ubuntu Server 10.04 as described here:

The article says debian has the problem and that I should try BusLogic but I read on VMWare's documentation that LSI Logic is recommended.

You have experience with this kind of errors and possible solutions?
