The message "Kernel panic: no init found. Try passing init= option to kernel" probably means the kernel can not find the root file system. Please try to modify the "root=" kernel parameter in the grub entry. Make sure that the value of the "root=" kernel parameter point to the right root-file-system device/partition.

Also check the fstab entry for the "/" file system if its pointing to correct partition and that the label has not been modified.
