Trouble with Proliant DL380 -Found solution
I just got my hands on a free HP Proliant DL380 server, but it's using a Compaq Integrated Smart Array chipset to build and control RAID arrays with the SCSI drives. I pop in Slackware 9.1 (I love this build,) and choose the raid.s kernel, but to no avail, I can't find the drives under /dev. Has anyone worked with a Compaq Integrated Smart Array chipset and knows what I should do/look for? I'm at a complete loss.
NVM, found it: /dev/ida/c0d0 |
You could have found a lot of information by going to the Hewlett Packard web site and putting DL380 in the search box and clicking on the search button.
