[SOLVED] Trouble connecting to my local Apache webserver on the same network.

Hello All,

Currently, I'm trying to setup a LAMP webserver for fun. The server seems to be up and running fine because I can access my html webpages from lynx. However, when I type the IP address(192.168.0.13) into a web browser on a different computer on the same LAN, I keep getting "Problem loading page" errors. (Both Windows and Linux systems).

I have searched around quite a bit and feel like I have done everything I need to do to the httpd.conf but it continuously fails. I must be doing something stupid.

There seem to be quite a few threads where people are having the same problem but none of them seem to help me out

Let me know if you need anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like in your iptablesrule set that the rule to allow HTTP traffic is after the rule that rejects all traffic on the INPUT chain. So your port 80 traffic will be rejected before it hits the rule that permits it to pass. You can verify this by looking at the output of "iptables -L". It looks to me like all you need to do is swap the last two rules in your INPUT chain and things should start working.
