Trouble automating rsync Mac OS 10.5 to Synology (BusyBox) Server

I'm attempting to set up a shell script to run rsync with out a p/w. I Have been reading instructions on how to do this all over the place, but I seem to be stuck on the last step.

I have rsync by itself working correctly.

I have setup keys on both systems and when I test the keys by doing: ssh -i $HOST-rsync-key 10.0.0.122 , I log right in with no trouble.

The instructions I found say that if I can do this, setting up my shell script to use SSH (rsync -e option) it should work. So my shell script looks like this:

rsync -e "ssh -i $HOST-rsync-key" -az /volumes/ITunes 10.0.0.122::NetBackup

When I run it, it still is asking for a password.
