Thin Client on RHEL

Dear all,

My thin client is not working. The setup is RHEL version 2.6.9 on Dual Core Opteron as Server and Sunray thin client as client. It was working fine for last one year. But now it is not getting connected with the server. I tried to figure out the problem, I checked the dhcp related files. However I could not figure our where is the problem.

Could u plz guide me what are the related files or process I have to look into to figure out the problem. I am facing this problem for the first time.

Thanks and REgards,

Jaynarayan.

First, spell your words out. Second, we can't "guide you", since there are too many things to guess at. What kind of thin-client boot system are you using? If it's been working for a year, the obvious question is "What changed?"

You need to check firewalls, network configurations, router changes, etc., to see if the problem is in the network, or on the server. Best way to do it would be to take a thin client, and plug it into the same network that your server is on, which would then eliminate most of the network issues. If it boots, something on the network has changed. If not, you need to check the log files on your server, to see if it's getting requests, and what it's doing.
