Terminal server start automatically on Edubuntu?

Does terminal server start automatically with Edubuntu? How can I tell if it is running?

My edubuntu/ terminal server is not on the same box as DHCP server.

( Install of terminal server is much easier on Edubuntu than on the Suse 10 box running the router/firewall function).

Should this work with DHCP on one box and terminal server on another?

Does this require a change in config?

Thanks.

what terminal server do you mean? vnc? freenx? xdmcp? none of these would be running my default i'd be very confident. most likely one you'd use is presumably vnc which would be an easy installation.

DHCP would have no role in this, they have nothign in common really... if you have an ip address then that box will respond normally on that ip address irrespective of the protocoll / method used to assign that ip address.
