System hung at halting .. trying to umount /dev/pts


Hi

when halting a server with RHEL 5.5 it gets hung trying to unmount /dev/pts with the following error :
umount: /dev/pts: device is busy


Please help

That's odd pts = pseudo terminal service ie remote term sessions. Normally it just kills the processes for that (afaik).
Are there any other symptoms?

Thanks for the reply . Problem solved by :
installed RPM initscripts-8.45.38-2.el5.x86_64.rpm to updated the currently installed initscripts-8.45.30-2.el5.x86_64 ... problem solved .
