It is to gather server utilization detail.
In scenario like:
There are some servers in an organization Windows ,Linux and UNIX so we are going to restructure the organization introducing new server system so that that consolidate all the servers for maximum efficiency.
For that we need to collect existing systems information like.
How it utilize processors,memory,..and most of the hardware resources.
So then we can calculate how many servers we need to handle workload efficiently.
So the tool called CDAT provides all the details it perform checkup time to time analysis on those servers(WE can schedule).some time throughout a week or month some time and store those collected data on a database.
Then those processes finish we can get a report on an Excel sheet that provide all the data that regard to all the servers and how the resources are used and peak times,idle times and so on.
So I want such system consolidation tool that do the same job.
