SVN Server Setup
Dear Experts,
I have configured the SVN Server in my Centos 5.3 Box by following up the link : http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Subversion. Now i want to configure my repository with a GUI client in Linux and windows for developers. So that they can access there files according to their user permissions. Kindly guide my for the available client for this purpose and their way to configure. Regards, Vijay Thakur India |
Try TortoiseSVN in Windows, and NautilusSVN, kdesvn, ... in Linux.

I used RapidSVN which is quite annoying when connection speed is not enough fast or simple you must wait few seconds the server to respond.
I would recommend using SVNFlash Standalone deployed in your Server. It's the best tool at the present to explore Subversion repositories. At the client side I would recommend using the command line and explore changes using Firefox to access SVNFlash on the server. SVNFlash is an amazing web application to explore Subversion repositories in particular when repositories are big an changes are difficult to track. If you used TortoiseSVN (Windows tool) then you will not miss it anymore in Linux :) Have a look at http://www.svnflash.com (Standalone version) |
