successful installation of mail server but has 2 problem

Everything is working fine, I can send, receive, create, delete except 2 problem.
I used Giorgio Tobia script to install open-exchange 0.8.2-1 on centos 4.4. Now here are my 2 problem:
1. open-exchange or cyrus-imap would automatically create a mailbox for any mail that does not have a mail box. For example, if there is no such mail box superman, and I get a mail for superman@nottoolongago.com, open-exchange or cyrus-imap would automatically create the mailbox. How can i stop that.
2. I can not get the alias to work. I tried to edit the /etc/alias file and then run newaliases but it does not work, open-exchange would just do what i stated on problem 1.

any help would be great!
Raymond

what is in your imapd.conf file. It may be setup to automatically create anonymous accounts.

thanks for helping

after a bit of reading and tinkering, i was able to resolve both problems. it seem the install script i used, set cyrus-imap imapd.conf createonpost=yes, hense creating mailbox when it does not exist. its as simple ass the monkey pushing a button (just not as smart as the monkey).
my second problem has to do with alias. i pointed alias_maps=/etc/aliases and not its reading aliases off the alias list.

took me a little head scratching time to figure it out, glad its resolve.
thanks for your time.
