Subversion post-commit auto update folder permissions

Hi

I've got a dev server with SVN on it.

Normaly we all work well without having to update a folder because it's not a webbased projet.

Now we have a webbased projet i'd like to "auto checkout" to a web folder after each commit.

I understand that I go to the repos/hooks
create or copy post-commit
ad a +x (exec) on it

have something like

/usr/bin/svn checkout /var/www/webfolder

but i'm confused as for permissions

Apache have +r+w in the web folder and the repos folder (the web folder have group "web" and are group +r, apache has web group)

but i seam to have some permissions problem still.

when exec a post-commit, who should have what permissions?
Apache? root? svn user?
