Post su disable


Hi All,


How can i disable "su -" for a single user in linux. because i am using sudo. so that the particular user no need to use "su -"

I wouldn't disable it (and in fact am not sure there's a real mechanism to do so without removing the binary - which may break other scripts and processes) but set the root password to something private and then they won't be able to authenticate as root anyway.

Exactly. It would prob break stuff.
If they need to do some privileged functions, make them use sudo.
