Strange SCP error & fail.

Hi all..

I havent seen this one before. I am unable to scp a file from 1 box to another. below is the output:

linux1:/home/admin # scp file.test admin@linux2:/home/admin/.
Password:

_ ___ _____ ___
linux1:/home/admin #

The end of a verbose output gives the following. Any help to re4solve this issue would be greatly appreciated.:

Arrr, solved.. This was due to a .bashrc file present in the home dir and set to giving output. Removing this file has fixed the problem.
