Starting advanced IEEE 802.11 management: hostapd failed!


sudo apt-get install hostapd
To edit the file /etc/default/hostapd into the following form

RUN_DAEMON="yes"
DAEMON_CONF="/etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf"

To edit the file /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf into the following form.

driver=nl80211
ssid=test
hw_mode=g
auth_algs=1
wpa=2
wpa_passphrase=password
wpa_pairwise=TKIP

sudo /etc/init.d/hostapd restart
grep hostapd /var/log/syslog

Jul 15 20:27:34 hwy hostapd[2635]: Starting advanced IEEE 802.11 management: hostapd failed!
Jul 15 21:28:52 hwy hostapd[943]: Starting advanced IEEE 802.11 management: hostapd failed!

Why can't start my hostapd?How to fix it?
