SSL in master/slave DNS


Hi all,

Thanks in Advance

In our Server they configure Master / Slave Dns using SSL authentication while tranfering the zone files, i dont have much idea
about ssl authentication for Dns, how it will works, regarding this
issue i googled also i didnt find any useful document, here most of the volunteer are there to help.. so kindly post any useful links for this issue, that really helpful for me.

Hi TB0ne,

Thats related to Dns only not related to ssl so only i start this topic as new okay. thanks for your links. but i am not clear how the ssl handshake happens while transfering the Master server to slave.?

Right...which is why in my last post I told you it was called dnssec, and gave some links to get you started. Did you follow up with it? There is a set of tools which are specifically designed to help with this, and a Google search for "linux dnssec" brings it up.
