SSH Freeze Problem
Hey Guys,
I have a problem (again). But first I want to say thank you for everyone who has helped me. I love to learn and LQ is great because of its users. Here is my problem. I'll ssh into my server. It sometimes randomly freezes my connection. When this happens if you try to reconnect through ssh you can't. Also if you try to view the webpage on port 80 you also can't. The httpd usually comes back up after awhile but the sshd is down until I get home and restart it. Thanks for any suggestions. nomb |
What distro? Is there anything in the log?

I have seen network traffic problems that are caused by bad NIC's, lost continuity in cable wiring, bad ports on switches/hubs, and bent pins in the NIC socket. |
Ya someone told me it would be better if I broke each one into a different thread. I am also thinking maybe I should thake the server off of the wireless connection and hardwire it in. Also WPA seemed to loose the dns/internet connection every so often on all my comps so I guess I will take that out and see if it helps any.
