.ssh folder creating automatically

I log in the MySQL server as non-root user and cd to MySQL data directory.

After that if I login to other server from MySQL data's directory, .ssh folder gets created and a database #mysql50#.ssh also gets created automatically.

If I remove .ssh folder from MySQL data directory #mysql50#.ssh database gets dropped.

Let me know, how to fix this .

This would indicate that you have set your non-root users "home" folder to your MySQL data folder.

Standard behaviour is that when you create a database in MySQL it creates a folder for it in the MySQL data folder.

If you do things the other way around (create a folder in the MySQL data folder) then MySQL will think of it as an "orphan" database.

I m not creating any folder inside MySQL's data directory, when I try to login another server from this location, .ssh folder gets created. I am aware that any folder inside data directory would create a database ..

but logically, if a folder by name .ssh is created in data directory, database with same name should get created, but here a database with "#mysql50#.ssh" name gets created.....

Except MySQL no other user has access to data directory
