What is your ClientAliveInterval set to in your /etc/ssh/sshd_config ?
Increase this and check.
If commented, then uncomment it and set it to a high value.

Remember to restart sshd

At a command prompt type:

Code:
set | grep -i TMOUT
That will show if you have an autologout set in bash, in tcsh it's autologout.

If that value is set it will log you out of the system after the number of seconds it says. If that value is not set then you need to look to both your ssh clients configuration and your ssh server configuration to determine what options may be causing problems.
