[SOLVED] Squid not blocking sites

that's correct, but i am a no networking/subnetting expert, i will let someone more experienced on subnetting to comment on this. so all i say for now is remove 10.0.0.0/8 and add others and reload the service.

My Sincere and special thanks to SAbhi and bathory for the inputs and help. Now my squid 3.3.8 is working fine. But when i add sites to allowed sites file and reload squid, the new sites are not updated. When i restart the server the config files take the newly added sites. Can you please help me fix this issue.

try this:

# /usr/sbin/squid -k reconfigure

or

/etc/init.d/squid reload

and please mark th thread as SOLVED.
