squid and AD using ntlm problem

Hi folks,

I have an solution working here on my old fedora core 8, that uses krb5/samba to authenticates my squid against Active Directory base. My squid is configured to use ntlm helper.
versions:
krb5-libs-1.6.2-9.fc8
krb5-workstation-1.6.2-9.fc8
krb5-devel-1.6.2-9.fc8
squid-2.6.STABLE16-2.fc8
samba-3.0.26a-6.fc8
ntlm_auth Version 3.0.26a-6.fc8

All it's working fine.
But now i'm migrating my old fc8 to fc9_x64, i copy all configurations of my fc8 to fc9_x64.
But i dont know why, my squid isn't working fine. The authentication is not working.

versions:
samba-3.2.0-1.pre3.9.fc9.x86_64
squid-3.0.STABLE2-2.fc9.x86_64
krb5-libs-1.6.3-10.fc9.x86_64
krb5-devel-1.6.3-10.fc9.x86_64
krb5-workstation-1.6.3-10.fc9.x86_64
ntlm_auth Version 3.2.0pre3-9.fc9

the helper line on my squid.conf:
auth_param ntlm program /usr/bin/ntlm_auth -d DOMAIN/pdcserver --helper-protocol=squid-2.5-ntlmssp

important: all queries from wbinfo are ok.

Someone knows if something change between these versions? Any idea?
Thanks a lot.

I know heaps has changed between ver 2 and 3 of squid.

I don't know about authentication methods, but here is a page I have found useful in the past.

squid...

iptables...

Cheers, Regards, Glenn

All good, so your going to use 2.7 then?

There are some things not mentioned, the config file, no acceleration lines required for 3.0, as it's built in, but in ver 2.x you need to have those lines in the squid.conf.

cheers, Glenn.
