Hello,
My comp has been working alright and all of a sudden it's behaving in a strange way.
The problem is that the system connects EITHER from intranet (with eth0 and eth1 both up) OR only from internet (if I down eth1).
eth0 - external gateway
eth1 - internal gateway
The error is as follows (both IPs are external and correct):
martian source 200.x.y.z2 from e1.e2.e3.e4, on dev eth0
ll header: 00:50:ba:cd:47:c7:00:30:48:52:44:91:08:00
I have two comps, let's say, Left.com and Right.com. Both have two ethernet cards (eth0 and eth1). Right.com works fine even now and Left.com has probs.
route -n gives the following o/p:
Code:
Right.com (Arch Linux)
---------
$ route -n

For some strange reason all the info about gateways is lost for eth0 (external IP) in Left.com. Despite that it has been working till late. When I earlier made external gateway as the default, I could not connect to the system from the organization as all SSH requests are blocked. This problem of a single gateway appeared also in CentOS-5 that I earlier used.
Can anyone suggest a way out please?
TIA,
-S
