I need to add spf records to my mail system but I can't find any valuable information on the net about how to do that.
I was wondering if it is possible through YasT in SuSE ES 10??
Dose anybody know about some link to this kind of info.
I tried already add some records to my zone. But each time I reboot the system it just rewrites the zone record.
Probably its because I use Cyrus-postfix with LDAP directory service for mail.
It seems to me that LDAP creates some initial settings (setted by me)at installation time and it is hard to do some kind of changes in this system.
The way of editing - which works - is YaST configuration enviroment. But it is very badly documented by suse (nowell) from the mail servers side (I didnt find any d).
And so I just try to find out how to do that with YaSt.
Maybe it is posible edit the directory record in LDAP but it seems very complex to me at this time.

Nothing in your LDAP configuration should cause it to overwrite your zone files, and I don't believe they're stored in LDAP at all. I remember someone else complaining about SuSE overwriting their zone files after a reboot, but I can't remember what caused it.
