spam control in mail server

hi friends,
thanks all.i have setup a sendmail as mail server on my REDHAT 9 installed machine.and it is working . but from few days there are lots of spam mail are coming with our mail and some of mail user of other domain complain me that our mail server send them spam mail.i know from some web site that mailscanner or spam assission can protect it.but i dont know how to configure it in mail server.

will u pls help me to configure it and stop this problem?

This should help you out a bit with spam assasin...
