Something alike as watch with scroll ability

Hi,

Sometimes I want to monitor delay pools on a squid server, so I issue the following command:

watch squidclient -p 8080 mgr:delay

The problem with that approach is that watch has not the ability to scroll the output, is there a way to execute a program periodically, with a scrolling "window".

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, not that I'm aware of, watch plays poorly with all the pager programs I've ever tried to use with it. You could write a shell script to accomplish the same thing... throw the command in a while loop and pass it to less, after you q outta less it'll loop again displaying the new data.
