Hi Folks,

snmpwalk throws the above mentioned output and no errors/logs captured in /var/log/messages.I have removed my entire configuration and added only the below, but the issue still persists.

After restarting SNMPD, The first SNMPWALK returns some valuse and fails in between.below is the o/p of the same.

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageIndex.5 = INTEGER: 5
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageIndex.6 = INTEGER: 6
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageIndex.7 = INTEGER: 7
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageIndex.8 = INTEGER: 8
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageIndex.9 = INTEGER: 9
Timeout: No Response from localhost

Next time it says only
Timeout: No Response from localhost.

Note : It was working fine till last week with my old configuration, all of a sudden it stopped and no logs found.

OS : RHEL
NET-SNMP version: 5.3.1


Could some please help me in sorting this out.

show us the exact command that you used please.

snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost

I don't think it is a configuration issue, because it was fine till last week. However i tried changing the configuration but still no luck.
