snmp trapd

I am trying to setup SNMP trapd v5.4.1 on an OpenSUSE 10.3 box. I want it to receive trap notification from one of my switches. I don't have a /etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf file. So I guess I need to create it by hand. Google search is only showing the man page. I guess I need to stat the snmptrapd daemon. But typing snmptrapd doesn't seem to do that (ps -ef | grep snmptrapd).

Would anyone know how to setup SNMP trand as a trap receiver and share their config file?

Thanks.
