We have a Fedora 10 box config with Mailman 2.1.12 and Exim 4.69. We, however, would like to configure the box to provide SMTP service (NO IMAP/POP service) for our multi-functions printers scanning feature. What do we need?
What are you trying to achieve? Exim is an SMTP server, AFAIK.
We can send message using exim as root through command line but would like to know how to setup additional email users. We would like to assign each multi-function printer with a unique email address. Also, we would like to learn how to setup exim SMTP authentication.
