Question SMART ROUTE in Sendmail ?

Hi Guys,

I have a sendmail MTA running. I need to define ROUTE which route all the trafic for xyz.com to host mx.xyz.com. I know this can be easily done in POSTFIX,EXIM but how to do it in sendmail . I did found SMART HOST option in sendmail but that will fwd all email to that HOST. Any clue ?

It sounds like you want to use the mailertable functionality. Have a look on the sendmail site at http://www.sendmail.org/m4/mailertables.html - it may do what you want.
