Unhappy Slapd database error


This error keeps occuring when i try to use slapcat on ldap

bdb_db_open: Warning - No DB_CONFIG file found in directory /var/lib/ldap/: (2)
Expect poor performance for suffix dc=amni,dc=local.
bdb(dc=amni,dc=local): unable to join the environment
bdb_db_open: Database cannot be opened, err 11. Restore from backup!
bdb(dc=amni,dc=local): DB_ENV->lock_id_free interface requires an environment configured for the locking subsystem
backend_startup_one: bi_db_open failed! (11)
slap_startup failed

I dont know where to start troubleshooting from, pls help
