Simulating traffic on mysql server - How ?

Hello everyone,

I have a question concerning mysql server.

Do You know any reasonable application to simulate traffic on mysql server ? Something which can execute n sql queries during specified time.

I would like to test my backup strategy on running system. Maybe somebody knows how to do it ?

thanks in advance

All I did was type "mysql load test" into google and click the first result ;-)
