shut down time in schedule task


I configured the following command but it only halt not shutdown the computer.i wanna shutdown the computer at specific time.How can i do?

# at 8pm
at> halt
(Press CTRL+D)

You should pass the p flag to power off the system, i.e.

halt -p
However, if you're running normally you should call the poweroff command. Simply,

poweroff
To schedule it you should do it in your crontab file (usually in /etc/) check out the man page of it, type in a console:
