Shoutcast Help

I have tried with putty, but at a point, l did not know what l was doing because l did not see anything apart from this black screen with with text.

I am trying to install shoutcast on a server l have rented.
I could have installed the shoutcast if l should have been siting infront of the computer, but since l have to install via putty, l am having problems.

Could some one help me to install?

Shoutcast takes less than 3 minute to install as l know and done before, but l could not do it via putty..

Please help.

What text are you seeing in Putty and what is the server O/S?

l am using Ubuntu , but the server holder said l can install any OS.
If you can help me, l couldd give you the ip address and password.. MAybe you can help me...

If you ask questions here then you may expect to have them answered here. While I can understand that you want to fix things as soon as possible offering a login for your server is strongly discouraged. Do not do that.
